I hear so many professionals saying “ugg I’ve got to go to continuing education” and I get that, sometimes as professionals, (especially in healthcare) we are forced to take classes that seem completely irrelevant; however I must say I love continuing education!  Over the last month we have spent two weekends at conferences.

I love it because it increases my WHY!  Why I do what I do, why I am passionate about teaching people about chiropractic, why I won’t stop until every parent at least knows there is an option other then medicating their children.  My husband and I are so blessed to be chiropractors, and not “just” chiropractors, chiropractors who specialize in children and family.  We are chiropractors who know and honor the fact that the greatest doctor in the world is already inside each and every one of us.  We honor and respect that and know our job is to reconnect man the physical to man the spiritual.  This is where the miracles happen!  This is where people start to truly express life!  Yes, crazy symptoms heal- everyday someone tells us their asthma, vertigo, anxiety, depression, headaches; infertility (really the list is endless) has healed.  I love hearing all of these things as well as the non-symptom based changes like “I have more energy”, “I sleep better”, “I have more patience”.  You have no idea how heartwarming it is to hear a parent say I can focus on my children better, or a mom tell us their child is more focused, more social etc.

So many people think chiropractic care is about back pain or neck pain.  In reality it is about so much more than that.  It’s about our brains!  Since our brains control absolutely every aspect of our lives it’s about LIFE!

This is why I love continuing education and always will.  It allows me to sharpen my sword so to speak, to be the absolute best chiropractor I can be.  To be forever getting better at what I do and how I do it.  It allows me to serve my community better!    Thank you to our patients who never bat an eye when we need to close on a Thursday to attend a conference.  Thank you for their understanding and helping us to serve them better.

If you or your loved one is experiencing a health challenge or you want to see if chiropractic care can help you be your absolute best please contact us.  We are happy to just talk to you, to see if we can help you.  We are here to serve you!

Yours in health,
